Compassionate Planning And Administration Services Tailored To Your Needs

Margaret A. Vella

Biography

Margaret Vella's approach to the law begins with empathy. Her area of practice demands nothing less.

That approach influences her work in many areas of law:

  • Divorce
  • Custody
  • Visitation
  • Adoption
  • Support
  • Paternity
  • Orders of protection
  • Separation
  • Health care

Ms. Vella brings her sense of empathy to pro bono work as well. Through the Capital District Women's Bar Association, she offers her knowledge of law at free legal clinics in Albany and Schenectady. She speaks regularly to seniors on elder law issues, and to high school students about legal careers.

To The Gordon, Siegel Law Firm, she brings valuable experience in business and law alike. With an MS in Public Service Administration from Russell Sage College, Ms. Vella has distinguished herself in the healthcare field, holding such senior positions as planning director and chief financial officer. In law, her private practice established her reputation as an experienced practitioner of Matrimonial and Family Law. She is a graduate of Albany Law School and a longtime resident of the Capital Region.
